Gardening in the Pink/Pink Saturday

UPDATE: No camping trip this weekend. :( Tornadic thunderstorms put a serious damper on our plans. Better safe than sorry. Afterall, entertaining two little ones...in the mud...in the cold...in a tent is not my idea of family "fun"!

Happy Pink Saturday to everyone. I am not actually around this weekend (enjoying a family camping trip with good friends), but promise to visit all your lovely pink posts upon my return! This week's post is short and sweet; my new pink gardening tools and some potted pink geraniums.

My sweet Mother's Day gift from the little ones this year. A pink gardening bag complete with a 4-Pc garden tool set including pruner, shear, trowel, and cultivator. A portion of the proceeds from "Garden for the Cause" tools will go directly to the National Breast Cancer Foundation. Visit Garden for the Cause to learn more about how you can combine a love of gardening with finding a cure.

My darling little garden girl helped me to pot these sweet pink geraniums (using my new gardening tools, of course). For other delightfully pink posts, please visit Beverly over at How Sweet the Sound. Have a great weekend!

  6. Hi Valerie, thanks for stopping by my pink Saturday post! I love this pink bag! I don't garden, but of course I'm thinking of how I could use it as a grooming tote for my horse, LOL! Actually I have a purple grooming bag, and my sister has a hot pink one.
Sorry the camping trip got canceled, hopefully they'll be better weather soon. Have a great weekend!

  7. It's raining cats and dogs in Upper Michigan today with oodles of cold wind. Not very spring-like so traveling from blog to blog on Pink Saturday is really a treat for me today.

Thanks so much for sharing a little something of yourself today. I really need all the pink I can get with the weather we are having☺

Hoping this weekend is filled with the j♥y of being surrounded by those you love and those who love you.

  13. If I had a set like that...there's no telling what the countryside would look like over here....lol!

We are having mega thunderstorms over here in San Antonio...started out this morning with hubby and doing some shopping but then...BOOM! Lightning and fat rain. Oh well, there's always next weekend! And we just had the car washed early this morning too...what a waste of five dollars!

  16. I love love love the pink gardening set! What a sweet and perfect gift!

Sorry the weather put a damper on your camping trip. It kept us home from the races tonight, and we packed up the garage sale early today too. Last night we had some yucky storms, but today was just rain. I do believe we are alal in for a really rocky storm season. We have a set of Storm Chasers here (one of the large tour companies).. They are not based out of here, but they have made this their home area for now. They said conditions are right for something major! Not sure I like the sound of that. But I know God will keep us safe!

    Hugs and Blessings,
