I Created A New "About" Page

I always love to click on the "About" pages on new blogs I discover.

What about you? Do you stop to take the time to read the "About" page on blogs?

I had an "About" page which was "bleh" so I took it down.

This evening I reworked it...

...adding a bit more personal and some photographs...

What do you think?  Do you feel like you "know me" better?  Too wordy...still "bleh"???!!!  Be honest...I can handle it!   :)

  2. IT looks GREAT! And I do know more about you now :) The only thing that I'd suggest....what if you put the child's name by the picture...only so people don't have to keep scrolling back up to reread the name? There's a lot of info to take in on that page. And that is not a bad thing. Way to go. Now you have my mind clicking, but I'm still playing Florence Nightengale here!

  4. Valerie-

It looks great! The "about me" page can be so difficult. How do you define yourself and your values in a paragraph or two? I love how you did it by making little subheadings and then incorporating photos as well as a little more info. about your interests and your family.

Now, I am thinking my "about me" needs updating too. I think it has been years since i have even looked at mine....

    God Bless, Kari

  9. I enjoyed reading your about page. I like reading people's about pages. That is why I re-did mine not long ago too. We share a passion for aprons. I love making and wearing aprons too.
