Saturday Night Date Night!

Tonight I get the pleasure of spending an evening out with my sweet and handsome husband…ALONE!  This is huge!  We’ve got a sitter lined up and are looking forward to some one-on-one time as well as good food and conversation at tonight’s outdoor shin-dig!  I *heart* Fall!

So, to celebrate this rare occasion, I indulged in a bit of me-time (read, retail therapy).  While I don’t have a lot of money to splurge on myself, I did find a great sweater coat and cute pair of flats to dress up a pair of jeans.

I bought this woman’s belted cardi coat at Old Navy in Ancho Chili.  I’m a natural blonde (okay, used-to-be natural blonde) with green eyes so I can wear these awesome Fall colors that tend to be in the warm family.

Since I desperately need some new shoes for Fall/Winter, what better excuse than a party to go to?!!!  I bought this pair at Famous Footwear by Me Too.

Here’s the funny thing about these shoes…both the Me Too website and Zappos.com website only feature this shoe under “children’s wear”.  Must be a shoe that is from last season as I clearly bought it in the women’s section!  Anyway, I got them in a funky metallic brown patent leather!  Very cute!!!

Now I am off to hide things in my master bedroom clean my house before sweet Montana comes over to babysit.  And yes, my kids do call her Hannah Montana, but she is totally cool with it.  What a doll!
