Happy May Day/ First Holy Communion

Happy May Day!

What a beautiful day we are experiencing (weather-wise) here in Kansas City.

The weather was even better over the weekend, when our sweet daughter celebrated her First Holy Communion. What an incredible day it was!!!

In addition to all the sacramental excitement, over the weekend, I got a new computer...an iMac.  (I *heart* my hubby!) I am slowly getting all of my pictures transferred over as well as any important word docs that I think I might need in the future.

I leave you with just a few pics of Mary Catherine.  I will be back with a lot more pictures of our day to share with our out-of-town family and friends.  While we wish we could have all been together to celebrate this blessed day, we know that you were with us in prayer and thoughts!

  2. You did pick the perfect dress- Mary Catherine looks like an absolute angel. So glad to hear the day went well. We celebrated my youngest son's First Communion this past weekend also and it was wonderful to see how genuinely excited he was about receiving Jesus.

What a blessing our children are and sharing our faith with them is the greatest gift, isn't it?

    Blessings to you all! :)

Thank you so much for taking the time to comment. Your kind words are appreciated! As Mother Teresa said, "Let us always meet each other with smile, for the smile is the beginning of love."
