What a Difference a Year Makes!

Seems we added an extra little one to the photo shoot!  And speaking of Luke the Duke, tomorrow he is officially 5-months old.  How did THAT happen?!!!  Here are a couple of pics that I took of him for his 4-month pictures.

I am one long, skinny kiddo!

At my 4-month (actually, 4 1/2 months) check up I weighed 11 lbs. 9 oz (23rd percentile) and was 26 inches long (90th percentile).  I still wear a Size 1 diaper, but when this box of diapers is used up, mama's moving me into Size 2!  I can still fit in 0-3 months clothing weight-wise, but it is absolutely too small due to my extreme length !  :)  I fit into 3-6 months clothing comfortably.

I currently love to smile, laugh, roll over (both directions), arch my back, and push up on my arms during tummy time.  I am usually content, but have recently become a bear to live with as I am teething.  My bottom left tooth (center) broke through the skin about two weeks ago and I am currently working on the right center tooth.  So, you can add teething and gnawing on anything I can put in my mouth to my list of favorite activities!  I appreciate constant entertainment and love having an older brother and sister.

Hi Val! Oh my goodness are they so big now!! I am so sorry I haven't been over to comment - I have seen each and every post, but haven't said anything! (hope you forgive me)...

your little dancer is the cutest! doesn't it make you just cry when they dance so innocently? (I'm so weak on the tears department these days I swear)

me and baby are doing fine - at least, everything seems okay - except for the HUGENESS of the ol' tum tum (lol)
at least I have little helpers to pick stuff off the ground for me (ha!)

Merry Christmas to you and your beautiful family Valerie!!!!

    xo+blessings,
    Anne Marie

  3. I love your Santa Photos!
We are still enjoying our Christmas vacation here in Utah. It has been nice to have some time off from the normal routine, yet I think I am about ready to have that routine back.

Babies sure don't stay that way for long. I like how your marking the stages on you blog.

Thank you so much for taking the time to comment. Your kind words are appreciated! As Mother Teresa said, "Let us always meet each other with smile, for the smile is the beginning of love."
