Beauty on Sunday…By Candlelight

"Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is gracious, if there is any excellence and if there is anything worthy of praise, think about these things."
 ~Philippians 4:8~

As Saturday night gently slips into Sunday morning,
I share with you these images of beauty by candlelight.

I love the simplicity behind this arrangement…

…mason jars…sand…candles.

A trio of jars…that delight the senses...

...symbolic of the Holy Trinity…the three theological virtues (faith, hope, & charity)…the Three Kings bearing gifts for the Christ child.

Wishing you a peaceful night and a blessed Sunday!

  • Reproduction "Vintage" Mason Jars…Bed Bath & Beyond
  • "Sugar Sand" from the white sand beaches of the American Gulf Coast (Alabama & Florida Panhandle)
  • Lavender Vanilla candles from Yankee Candle Co.

  2. Those are so beautiful!! I have a feeling that my hubs would be able to get his hands on some material to twist around my mason jars that I have on hand. Love this kind of stuff. And if he doesn't have the material, I bet I can find the info on Pinterest. Thanks for sharing!
