Firecracker Cookies
I spent the evening making "firecracker cookies" with my little ones to kickoff the month of July. According to my kids, they were a smashing bursting success! And I always appreciate a recipe that is both easy and delicious.
Better yet...I discovered a new blog by a local gal...the Cookin' Cowgirl. Her blog looks scrumptious!

The cookies do look yummy, and so perfect for the 4th! I especially love the quote though. Unfortunately too many Americans focus more on the freedom "to" and not enough on the freedom "from"....
