A Hidden Gem Will Rise Again...

Last weekend, at the fair, we saw this...

For those of you who have been longtime followers of her Little Ways (formerly titled From Our Front Porch), you know of the loss of our community-loved barn at Zimmerman's Kill Creek Farm.  A tornado touched down on May 12 of 2010 and leveled this much-loved homesteading landmark.

Weddings, birthday celebrations, graduations, anniversary parties, Blues and BBQ festivals, Art in the Barn, etc. all had to find new locations.  Our beloved 150-year old landmark was gone with one mighty storm.

But it appears that all will be good again!

We are beyond excited...and even had to have our picture taken in front of this display!
Look at that excitement!

I, myself, had forgotten just how powerful this storm was and the destruction inflicted.

Thank you so much for taking the time to comment. Your kind words are appreciated! As Mother Teresa said, "Let us always meet each other with smile, for the smile is the beginning of love."
