Wedding Reception Fun

As I mentioned in yesterday's post, we traveled to Oklahoma City for my cousin's wedding.  It was a beautiful wedding ceremony (the most important part of a wedding, for sure!) and we had lots of fun at the reception. Theirs was a very intimate and private affair which allowed for lots of mingling!  With a limited guest list, the bride, groom and their families were able to spend lots of time with out-of-town guests.  Cocktails, hors d'oeuvres, dinner, and dancing to a band made for a lovely evening.

My two little men.

Horse drawn carriage ride from church to reception!

Mary Catherine, Daddy, and cousins checking out the horse.

First Dance

A captured giggle!

Digging in to his "kid" plate!  My two oldest were so well-behaved!

For the love of cupcakes...red velvet and chocolate with cream cheese frosting.

I can almost taste this!  I caught Mary & Benjamin visiting the cupcake table more than once!
The Happy Couple!

My cousin and her new husband are off to Europe.  Two marvelous weeks spent in Italy and France.  Wishing them a lifetime of happiness!

Thank you so much for taking the time to comment. Your kind words are appreciated! As Mother Teresa said, "Let us always meet each other with smile, for the smile is the beginning of love."
