It is Great to be Eight! Luke Alexander and Noah Celebrate Together

Yesterday, July 29th, Luke turned 8!  We celebrated by going out to lunch and then opening a few presents.  Luke is really into drawing so his gifts all centered around art.  He has already been busy creating and loves his new "art cart".

In addition to celebrating at home, Luke got to celebrate with friends.  One of his best friends from grade school happens to share the exact same birthday.  (They are both the oldest boys in the room which is nice for them...they really relate well to each other.)  Noah (the other birthday boy) had a few friends over for a dinosaur-themed party.  They went to see Dinosaurs Revealed at Union Station and then had  pizza, cake, and a sleepover.  Noah's mom sent me pictures and it looked like they had a great time!

I have a bit of a canky 8-year old this afternoon, but his first sleepover was a success!  Happy Birthday Luke!!!
