Change
It's been said,
"The more things change the more they stay the same."
(Alphonse Karr)
I'd have to agree.
After a lot of thought...and some time away from my blog...I've decided to post in a new direction.
Ironically...it feels a bit like going back to my roots...or my original intent and purpose behind blogging...
...to share with my dear family and friends (and that does include many of you in blogland!) the goings on with my sweet little family in our beloved farmhouse here at the edge of the beautiful tallgrass prairie in Kansas.
I hope that you will continue to drop by for a visit...
...to see how much my kids have grown...or how we are updating "the farmhouse"...or what my newest quilting project looks like...
...but just know this...
...you are always welcome here...regardless of your religious affiliation (or lack thereof)...size of family...philosophy on schooling...or employment status (I recently returned to work outside of the home!).
My desire is for this to be a kind and welcoming...cozy and calming...place to visit.
Hugs and Kisses,
Yay! It's so good to see you again and I'm looking forward to see what you have in store. Love the new look, too. Have a wonderful weekend.
ReplyDeleteAwww, thanks, Kathleen! I am hoping to make some more changes in the coming days and weeks...although I probably shouldn't stay up until midnight on a "school night" like I did last night. :) LOL
DeleteSometimes a little change is just what we need to keep us motivated and excited.
ReplyDeleteLove the new look and name! :)
Yes, Kari, you are exactly right...change is a huge motivator. Thanks for dropping by!
DeleteYou know what? You have always posted in such a way, in my humble opinion. So to see a "changed" Valerie only can mean more kindness and gentleness :) Have a great weekend and a blessed Sunday!
ReplyDeleteThank you, dear friend! I do appreciate your kind words and the time you took to drop by today! Hugs!!!
DeleteChange is always tough. But that is life.
ReplyDeleteLooking forward to see what's going on.
M : )
I'm paintin'...craftin'...sewin'...up a storm! Wishing I had more time on my hands...but loving having the money to do the things I want to do around the house! It's a double-edged sword! :)
DeleteLet's try to get together again...this time over here. Mary's old enough now to "babysit" and we can have another dinner date with the husbands. :) Email me dates that are good for you.
