Danish Butter Cookies Made Simple
When winter's chill sets in and you don't want to head out why not bake some from-scratch Danish butter cookies?
They're super easy, and most of us have these ingredients on hand.
Perfect with a cup of hot cocoa!
Enjoy!
Basic Butter Cookie
1 stick of butter
1 cup of flour
5 tablespoons of sugar
1/4 teaspoons of salt
1 teaspoon vanilla
Combine softened butter with sugar, salt, and vanilla. Gradually add in the flour. (If mixture is too soft, place in refrigerator for a few minutes.)
Roll into quarter-size balls and place on cookie sheet. Press down with fork. Sprinkle with crystal sugar.
Bake at 350 degrees for 10 minutes.
